Here at InvitationConsultants.com, we love the different viewpoints of our staff members. Many times, we will bounce ideas and concepts off of each other because most of the time, no two staff members see things the same way. For that reason, we have recruited three new staff writers to write articles for our customers. Allow us to introduce the IC Article Columnists!


Name: Jennifer

Background: I grew up in a small town in central Michigan with one brother and one sister. After college, I moved to Tampa because I wanted to get out of the cold climate and I knew a friend here who said how great it is. After a couple of months, I met my future husband. We now have two labs (our babies) and just got married in May. Wedding planning for me was really stressful at times but totally worth it now that it’s over (easy to say now!). Now I am content settling into married bliss with my husband.

Likes: I love funny movies, reality TV, fashion, my dogs (okay, who am I kidding, ALL dogs), my friends, Chinese food, my husband, gummy bears, Siesta Key beach, laying out by the pool, shopping, tennis, reading and 80’s music.

Dislikes: Road ragers, people who take themselves too seriously, sauerkraut, loud people on planes, hard boiled eggs, salmon, long waits in line or on the phone.


Name: Sabrina

Background: I’m an only child, and originally from a very small, rural town in Northern Michigan. After high school, I attended Central Michigan University where I graduated in 2005 with my Bachelors degree in Psychology. The cold winters were never for me, so a few weeks after college graduation I packed up my bags and moved to warm, sunny Florida. Two short months later, I met my husband, and in March 2008, we were finally married. I now reside in Tampa, FL with my husband, our dogs (two cavalier king charles spaniels named Brody and Riley) and cats (a bengal named Kitty and an orange tabby named Punkin.)

Likes: Shopping, reading, watching Sex and the City, watching movies (especially romantic comedies,) cooking, trying new restaurants, the beach, sunshine, animals, chocolate, cheese, music for the 90s, the color pink, purses, flip flops, Guitar Hero, sleeping, fast food, spending time with family and friends, and relaxing on the weekends and doing absolutely nothing.

Dislikes: Snakes, spiders, heights, pineapple, playing sports, watching sports, black pepper, early mornings (before 8:00 am,) scary movies, country music, USOs (Unidentified Swimming Objects) that brush against my leg in the ocean, going to the gym, cold weather, bad drivers, and mean people.


Name: Jessica

Background: I am originally from a town just outside of New Haven, CT, which officially makes me the only article writer not from Michigan. I went to school in Newport, RI and majored in Marketing. Once I graduated college, I moved to Tampa, FL to be with my parents who moved here some years before, and because I was tired of the long, cold winter New England months. I have now happily lived in the warm Tampa weather for about 2 ½ years now, and have worked for Invitation Consultants for about 1 ½ years.

Likes: Gnocchi (best pasta ever!), Any movie with Robert DiNero or Jonny Depp, Awful 80’s movies. The awfuler the better! Europe (I’ve never been there, but I am pretty sure I would like it if I had) and the Yankees.

Dislikes: Eggplant, Swimming (I can’t swim, and I never want to), Bees, and the Red Sox.


Name: Keri

Background: I was born and raised in Michigan the state of the “Great Lakes.” However, I reluctantly packed up all my belongings and moved down to Tampa, Florida for, you probably guessed it... my boyfriend. The move took place over two years ago and it was the best decision of my life! I got engaged on December 7th, 2007 and am anxiously awaiting my upcoming wedding on September 26th. I do not have any children at this time; besides my two lovable, yellow Labrador Retrievers Dolce and Daisy.

Likes: I do not like but LOVE all reality shows, they are my guilty pleasures. I like spending time with my family and friends. I love to go shopping. I enjoy watching “girly movies.” I like to go dancing. My favorite candy is Sour Patch Kids, and I love pretty much all sports. I LOVE WORKING AT INVITATION CONSULTANTS!

Dislikes: I strongly dislike sauerkraut. I do not like sitting in traffic. I find sitting at the airport and waiting for your flight to be unpleasant. I am not a big fan of the ocean because of all the creepy creatures lurking below me.
